In 1918, Charles Baudouin established the company Baudouin in Marseille, France. Subsequently, the company relocated its main offices and manufacturing facilities to Cassis. Fast forward to April 2009, when the Chinese manufacturer Weichai Power completed the acquisition of Baudouin. Following this acquisition, Weichai Power integrated its European operations under the Baudouin brand.
